Floral Basket to Statues of Great Leaders from Abroad



Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The European Regional Committee for Friendship with the Korean People sent a floral basket to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill here on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.


The floral basket was laid at the statues of the great leaders on Tuesday. -0-

  The upcoming 60th anniversary of the start of work of the great Leader Comrade  KIM JONG IL  at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) gives us the idea and the opportunity to hail his great achievements on foreign activities. Shortly after the historic day of June 19, Juche 53 (1964), he entered into the responsible phase of actively assisting the great Leader Comrade  KIM IL SUNG  in his external activities. The 1960s and 1970s were the time when the WPK concentrated its foreign contacts and relations on the newly emerged independent countries.
