The Denmark-D.P.R. Korea Friendship Association extends its warmest greetings to the European

Regional Committee For Friendship with the Korean People on the joyous anniversary regarding

the start of work by Comrade Kim Jong Il in the C.C. of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

This anniversary is special, not only for it being the 60 th of its kind, but also for being celebrated in

the newly constituted ERCFKP. Our association looks on this newly formed committee with great

hope and expectations for the future of the European solidarity movement with the Korean

revolution.

Comrade Kim Jong Il was a pioneer in many ways. He began working tirelessly in the WPK at

the very young age of 22. Beforehand, he had excelled in the party and the youth league, as a

strong revolutionary with great insight in theory and practical knowledge. This followed him

throughout his life, where he dedicated every single fiber of his being to the revolutionary cause.

When we hear the dear name of Comrade Kim Jong Il, we think about his many field guiding

trips to factories, farms, civilian facilities and military units. These trips accounted for at least

669.844 kilometers, equivalent to going round the earth nearly 17 times. What does this tell us? It

shows the picture of a peerlessly great statesman, party helmsman and a revolutionary of the

strongest caliber.

We can also attribute the continued survival of the DPRK to the great Comrade Kim Jong Il,

who led the country at the most difficult times of imperialist aggression. By developing Songun-

politics, he ensured the protection and strengthening of the revolutionary armed forces. Thanks to

him, the Korean revolution is standing stronger than ever in the 21 st century.

Thus, our association would like to underline the glorious revolutionary deeds performed by great

Comrade Kim Jong Il, who will continue to hold a very special place in our hearts. Our

association has it as a key mission to educate our members and the public in these revolutionary

deeds. We would again like to thank the ERCFKP for providing a forum for this celebration, and

look forward to future activities as this.

Long live the glorious legacy of Comrade Kim Jong Il !

Long live the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean revolution !
