I have the honor to take part in the events with online submission on the

theme of “ The Exploits of the Great Leader Comrade KIM JONG IL” to

mark the 60th anniversary of the start of work of the great leader

Comrade KIM JONG IL at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party

of Korea organized by the European Regional Committee for

Friendship with Korean People.

I congratulate the team of the ERCFKP for holding this historical

event and the sincere efforts of the Esteemed Comrades to extend

continuous support and solidarity to the anti-imperialist just struggle of

the Korean people and wish the grand success of the events!

We all know that Comrade KIM JONG IL was born on February 16,

1942, at a secret camp in MT, a major base of the armed struggle.

Paektu when the armed struggle was waged by the Korean

revolutionaries under the leadership of Comrade KIM IL SUNG (1912-

1994), eternal President of the DPRK, to liberate the Korean peninsula

from Japanese military occupation.

At that time, the guerillas barked the trees in the forests and

inscribed such slogans as Heir to General KIM IL SUNG born on MT.

Paektu: O Korea and compatriots, we inform you of the birth of the

Shining Star of Paektu; and the birth of the Shining Star of Paektu; and

the birth of Shining Star of Paektu is the honor of Kore!

True to the expectation and desire of the Korean people Comrade

KIM JONG IL became the shining star adding glory to Korea and

carrying forward President KIM IL SUNG’s cause, which was Leader

KIM JONG Il’s lifelong mission.

Leader KIM JONG IL assisted President KIM IL SUNG in his work

from his early years. Leader KIM JONG IL started working in the Central

Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), this year in 2024, we

are celebrating the 60th anniversary. It is great that this day, we are

commemorating the day, when comrade KIM JONG IL stepped on the

road that led him to shoulder the great responsibility of leading the

entire Korean people in the Juche-based socialist revolution and

building peace in the Korean peninsula in particular and across the

world, in general. The date was June 19, 1964. On that date, he began

to work in the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Leader KIM JONG IL not only discharged the day-to-day

responsibilities of the Party's Central Committee but also paid great

attention to the Party's theoretical, political, and ideological building.

Comrade KIM JONG IL, under the guidance of Great Leader Comrade

KIM IL SUNG, went among the leaders, cadres, and members of the

party and the people, as well, listened to them, did many research

works, studied the classical works of Marxism-Leninism and

revolutionary works by the Great Leader and wrote many articles and

books to solve the contemporary theoretical, political and ideological

issues confronting the Korean revolution. His creations contributed

tremendously to the building of the WPK under the guidance of the

Juche Idea, propounded by the Great Leader.

While dealing with the overall work of the Workers’ Party of Korea,

the state, and the armed forces, Leader KIM JONG IL performed

exploits noteworthy in history. Through energetic ideological and

theoretical activities, he ensured that the Juche and Songun ideas of

President KIM IL SUNG shone as the eternal guiding ideology guiding

the era of independence. Comrade KIM JONG IL also developed the

WPK into an ever-victorious guiding force, the DPRK into an invincible

socialist state, and the Korean People’s Army into a matchless

revolutionary army.

Leader KIM JONG IL firmly defended socialism by dint of his unique

Songun politics, turned the whole society into a grand, harmonious

family with his policy of loving and trusting people and further

strengthened the entire country into a politico-ideological power in

which all the people are united with single heart against the extreme

maneuvers of the US-led imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPR of

Korea.

Leader KIM JONG IL's practical steps to strengthen the Juche and

Songun policy along with the launching of the August 31st, 1998

Artificial Satellite Kwang Gong Song-1; October 09, 2006, first Nuclear

Test of the DPRK; lunching of April 05, 2009 Kwanggong Song 2nd;

May 25, 2009 second nuclear test are some of the great achievements

of his brilliant Songun leadership, the world history has mentioned

them in golden letters.

Dear Leader KIM JONG IL will be in our hearts always for his

immortal contributions not only to the Korean peninsula but also to

whole Asia and the world at large. He always morally and physically

supported and was together with the world people for anti-imperialist

struggle and world independence!

Lastly, I cannot conclude without mentioning that the greatest

contribution of leader KIM JONG IL was to hand over the Democratic

People's Republic of Korea, which he had received from President

KIM IL SUNG’s trust to the true successor of the Korean Revolution His

Excellency KIM JONG UN, the supreme leader of the Korean people,

party, state and the army raising it in still strong, self-reliant Songun

Korea.

Availing myself of this opportunity I, on behalf of the organizations,

wish to extend our best wishes to His Excellency KIM JONG UN,

President of the State Affairs of the DPRK for good health and

happiness in leading the Worker's Party of Korea, Armed Forces of the

DPRK and the Korean people's law-full struggle to achieve their

ultimate goal.
